Post-colonial poetry project

This guide is designed to introduce you to the greater LibGuides academic research community, and to help you sharpen your researching skills (searching, evaluating, citing, presenting) as they relate to the study of World Literature.

For this assignment, you will focus on a poet from a country, or an ethnic group, that falls under the categories of “post colonial” or “third world” (also known as the “developing world”).

These are the major components of the project, as noted in your packet (each teacher's packet is the last word):

    • Timeline
    • Map
    • Painting
    • Creation Myth (Mr. Strohecker)
    • Poet Analysis
    • A Day in the Life of a Poet
    • Works Cited
    • A Dish
    • A Presentation

Good luck researching!
